A lot has changed through a month of the NFL season, and a good amount of that happened in

week four. There was some key player usage that I found interesting, but I'm pretty sure your

league mates didn't pick up on. And it's a good idea to trade for these players who saw that

sneaky usage before week five. Now, we'll actually start with Deonté Johnson, who yes, he did not

play in week four due to injury, but because what happened in the Steelers' offense, he is now a target for you. Pittsburgh's offense looked atrocious.

Kenny Pickett got injured and is going to miss some time, and Mike Tomlin said, yeah,

there's going to be changes.

And not to mention, Deontay hasn't played it in a while, so he's taking a lot of zeros for

your leaguemate who might be starting to get frustrated.

And you can check out this tweet I put out there. Johnson with Kenny Pickett only averages nine fantasy points per game. But with Mitch Trubisky, who is now going to be the starter, on a pretty decent sample, he averages 13 fantasy points on

nine targets per game. Now, of course, the question becomes, when will Deonté return? A lot of people

are going to be saying it's going to be week seven, which maybe Kenny Pickett is back by them,

but maybe he's not. And all we have this year out of Deontay Johnson is two quarters of football. One half of football week

against the 49ers, the number one defense in the NFL. And oh yeah, he continued to do

Deontay Johnson things, averaging six targets in one half, less than a half of football. And just as

a reminder, Deonté ranked ninth in wide receiver usage last year, had 147 targets. And since 2019,

he has the fourth most targets in the NFL. He's easily a top 20 wide receiver in the NFL when healthy,

and you could probably get him a lot cheaper than that right now.

Last season, Deante ranked top 10 at beating both man and zone coverage.

And the takeaway there is that he knows how to get open,

which means it doesn't really matter who his quarterback is for the most part.

He'll be getting open, going by him. Next up on this list is Joe Mixen, who continues to see elite usage in all areas.
