Right? Sometimes if you're not first, your last, I know Derek Brown has done that a couple of times in your flex leagues. He's either first or last many, many times I've seen it. Nobody ever remembers who finished in third place. Nobody cares. The only reason we sometimes remember second place is because people complain about, oh, I just, there's no way I was going to win.

It's the joke that we all make, but it's you want first place because even like, even if you're fifth place nobody cares like nobody remembers you don't get any kudos for it

good season whatever who cares, we just want first place. That's the end of it. Erickson, I mean, I think a certain amount of risk is important in every single roster you build. It's when you decide to put that risk into your roster with the draft capital. That to me is what matters the most.

I agree. And I think, too, talking about capturing this upside, making sure you're drafting

players that have league winning potential because a lot of the times every single year is defined
