So I was if if you never stood in a road in one spot in intersection and direction traffic when it's 83 degrees out with orange hair.

You should try it. It's great. You kind of reevaluate your whole life. All your choices. What am I doing? Why don't police officers make a livable wage? Why am I a slave? That type of thing.

But anyways, by the end of it, you're so happy you're out. You forget about all those regrets. Guys, thank you for being here. Thank you for the five star reviews that keep pouring in on Apple iTunes.

I know I'm on you guys all the time about it, but I truly do appreciate it. I'm not sure it really does anything with any kind of algorithm, but what it does do is it just looks good.

It looks nice. People want to come on the show. Bigger guests and stuff like that. We'll see that be like, all right, this shows legit and their agent will send me something to get them on.

I don't want to, you know, make him nervous. But it might be I have the chief deputy of a panel County Sheriff's Department. And guys got hell of a resume. He's got a hell of a sheriff, America sheriff.

He's currently, like I said, chief deputy second command at the Pinell County Sheriff's office. He's got 30 years in law enforcement assignments have included detention patrol narcotics training worked at the academy.

He was on SWAT. He's done anti smuggling and he worked motors. And also I don't want to fail him. And I've been remiss if I didn't mention he's been married 29 years and has three kids, which is a great feat in itself.

So without further ado, let me welcome on Matthew Thomas. Sir, thank you for coming.

Hey, how you doing? Thank you for having me, man. Yeah, the 29 years married is definitely the biggest accomplishment.

I love to see it, man, because you know what, not the worst part of being a young cop when you come on is like all the salty dogs being like what marriage on kind of it's a four gone conclusion that your wife is just going to leave you.

I know, dude. And then talking to him. And again, even as a young cop, I know you've heard this. I've heard this. Yeah, I have to work 40 years, you know, because the first wife gets this much. The second wife gets that much.

I know guys that because of child support and things like that, like we're like legit living like an apartment above somebody's two car garage.

And they're on your like 25 of their career. I'm like, dude, that is a, that's like a nightmare. Like if you just get a straight check, it's gone. Well, that's why I work 80 hours a week.
