News that the King of England, King Charles III,

head of the Anglican Church,

is headed to Rome to worship with Pope Leo,

head of the Roman Catholic Church.

My exchange with Gregory takes into the fact

that the last 500 years

have often seen clashes between these two large Christian sects,

the Roman Catholic Orthodox Church of Rome,

and the breakaway Anglican Church of London,

and the king, once upon a time, King Henry. However, here they are together

puzzling about the ironies of these things while reading the 17th century history of conflict

if the 500 years of dispute they all get apologies now everybody well i think there are apologies

due and i won't say from whom to whom, but the king is going to see Pope Leo, and it'll be the first state visit by a British monarch, head of the Anglican Church, to the head of the Roman Catholic Church since Henry VIII. So that, as you say, half a millennium of separation there.
