Football Hall of Fame event. You are back in home base in the Bay Area

of Northern California. So we finally got the results of the playoff committee's top rankings and I got admit

Yeah you wonder looking back now did we all just kind of talk ourselves into making

this more complicated than it is because a lot of people myself yourself had

convinced ourselves that they were going to elevate Ohio State if Ohio State beat Wisconsin

they would have more good wins and we would just kind of casually forget that oh

by the way they did lose two games and one of them was by 31 points so to an unranked team to an

unranked team I filed my column late Saturday night why I thought and I could go

either way but why I thought they would take Ohio State. And right around that time, maybe right after I filed it,

I got a text from our friend Andy Staples

who said, because at this point, everybody's freaking out on Twitter.

He said, I kind of think Alabama's

would get in fairly easily tomorrow but it is fun watching all these people tie
