Chris writes I was listening to your 1226 podcast. That would be yesterday. And in the beginning of

the show you and rookie band heard back and forth about how busy the airport was on this day after

Christmas. Rookie cited his friend at the airport who provided him with intelligence that the

airport was packed. His insider friend at the airport painted a picture of doom and gloom in the

TSA lines interestingly enough in recent days. The local TV news channels of painted a similar

picture of airport doom and gloom this afternoon, meaning yesterday afternoon. I dropped my 21

year old son off at the airport so we could catch his flight back to his college on the east coast.

He was scheduled to leave at 315. Terrified of the reports of horrific delays for this afternoon.

We took note of all the warnings that we arrived at the drop off area more than two and a half

hours prior to his flight. Smart traffic was busy but not heavy. I zoomed right up to the

delta door, dropped him off and sent him on his way. When I arrived back home 40 minutes later,

I sent him a text message asking about his baggage check line and TSA security screening plate.
