Yeah, the holidays are here, and it is time to enjoy, partake, finish up, finish up. I have a feeling driving about town today is going to be a bit of a eye-opening experience because you'll see a lot of men, roughly my age, panic look on their face, traversing from one part of the

city to the other. Because that's how we roll. We've identified in our head seven things we need.

We've had months to pick up those seven things. We have yet to pick up a single one of them. None of the seven.

Having been identified again a year ago as a grand gift for our wife and children, we'll get it.

The fear comes from today realizing that perhaps we've waited too long, and one, two, not maybe three

or four of those things have been picked through and are no longer on the aisle.

Nowhere to be found because you waited too damn long to pick it up when you could have

easily have done this.

But that's okay.

Tradition is old as Christmas itself. That's the way it works.

It's all right. So be patient with your fellow man, for we are failures of planning. Often. It's

okay, especially when it comes to things like this. Don't worry, we can switch gears now.

We are capable of, okay, grasping our mistake, realizing the moment, staring as the space where the thing was when you saw it the last time you were here is no longer.

You look around a little bit thinking maybe they moved it somewhere else. Maybe you're going to talk to one of the employees about perhaps just one in the back, whatever that might be. But then when you realize, nope, it is solely your failure that has left to this moment. You'll pivot. You'll shift gears and say, well, then again, they always like this. And you'll race to that particular place that has this or that or whatever it might be. That's the way it works. That's the way it works.
