often as the case by my colleague Stuart Mandel and we have an interesting podcast it is signing day and

class which is unprecedented up in Eugene we'll get to him in a little bit but

before we do stew some interesting things have shaken out.

I'm just curious as to how far down the rabbit hole did you get with recruiting coverage at this point.

I have to admit, you know, while I am a proponent of the early signing period,

I have not quite adapted to it myself.

I miss having all of January once the season was over and I had a little bit more time to fully

immerse myself in all of the names I need to know for the class that was signed in February

now you look up and whoa they've all you know

three quarters of them have already signed as of today but you know I'm

following what's going on it seems to me tell me if you agree that in our time covering the sport there's just been like various

phases of well now Pete Carroll is the hot recruiter and now Mack Brown and now Pete Carroll
