The following is a pre-recorded program. All right, there is a case here in Los Angeles,

and it's a local case. And this is kind of fun.

Well, I don't know if it's fun.

But there is a residential care facility for the elderly.

Used to be called the Adat Shalom Residential Care for the Elderly.

I think it's run by, well, obviously a bunch of Jewish people.

And it's no longer called the Adat Shalom residential care for the elderly.

Now it is the Land of Peace assisted assisted living facility.

Sounds like a basically cemetery, doesn't it?

And why did they change their name?

Well, let me tell you why.

Because there was a lawsuit that was filed,

at least a complaint was filed before the California Labor Commissioner's Office, and they opened an investigation in 2017, and they found that the former Adot Shalom Residential Care for the Elderly Center,

well, let's just say they really screwed their workers.

And these 148 workers have been awarded more than $5 million

because they were victims of wage theft.
