Hello and welcome to the Tuesday December 12th, 2017 edition of Tesla Daily on

official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we have a lot to cover including Pepsi Co, placing a reservation for 100 Tesla Semis and a new highest model 3 VIN sighting.

Tesla stock yesterday with a great day of 4.37% to $328.91, this compared to the NASDAQ

up 0.51%.

There's not really any clear evidence as to what drove this, other than possibly the model three settings at the Fremont

delivery center. Supercharger network also had a big day yesterday up six

superchargers to one thousand and eighty supercharging locations new stations

opening up in South Korea, Texas, and four in China.

Okay, getting into the news, as I said in the opening, PepsiCo has placed a reservation

for 100 Tesla Semis.

This is the biggest reservation that I have seen so far. If anyone knows of a larger one, please send me an email with that information, but this is the biggest one that I've seen.

Reuters broke the news this morning, and they also included a statement from Mike O'Connell, who is the senior director of North American supply

chain for Frito-Lay which is a subsidiary of Pepsico. Reuters included a paraphrase statement for

Mike O'Connell saying quote the semi-trucks will compliment PepsiCo's US fleet of nearly 10,000 big rigs

and are a key part of its plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across its supply chain by a total of at least 20% by 2030."

End quote.

So 10,000 trucks is a huge fleet.

I actually did some research on this and according to fleettracks.net, who I do not know

if they're a reputable source or not, though I don't know why they would not be and their data does seem plausible

They reference a 2015 study on the largest fleets in the United States and Pepsi actually ranks first.

So it looks like we now have the largest reservation to the largest

potential customer in the United States.
