One of the greatest sources of education ought to be the automobile and that is the court of the day

Welcome back to the quote of the day show. I'm your host Sean Crox and I'm Sean Crox and

calm today. We got Zigg Ziggler back on the show and today Zigg is talking about two simple

things that we can do to feed our mind. One is to listen to educational courses, talks,

audiobooks and podcasts like this one in your car, which is probably what you're doing right

the other is my favorite the other is to read even if for just 20 minutes a day remember my

philosophy on life is little by little a little becomes a lot. And as you're about to hear Zigg

talk about if you read for just 20 minutes a day by the end of the year you'll have read 20

200 page books that's 19 more books than the average person reads every year. Imagine how much

just doing that could change your life in just 20 minutes a day and even if you don't

want to turn off the TV for 20 minutes that's fine don't turn it off do you're reading during the

commercials like when I watch basketball I'm a huge warriors and Lakers fan when I watch basketball

I read during the free throws I read during the timeouts I read during the commercials so in a

typical game I can get through about 30 pages or so while I'm watching the game so like I say

those little bits add up over time here's Zigg. Now when do you feed your mind?

You feed your mind while you're in your car one of the greatest sources of education out to be

the automobile. I was a visiting scholar at the University of Southern California for two years

while there I learned of a study they had done. They discovered that if you live in a metropolitan

area and drive 12,000 miles a year that in three years time in your car you can acquire the

equivalent of two years of college education while you are in your car. Many times people invest

10, 20, 30, even 40,000 dollars in an automobile and then gripe and raise sand every time they have
