She joined the team in 2004 after graduating from Syracuse University. Colton began as a production assistant running the teleprompter and handing out scripts -- and worked her way up to the anchor desk. Colton's covered stories from the Olympics overseas, to the Gilgo Beach Murders, to every main news story in tri-state area. She gets up at 1:45 every morning to be at the studio at 3, and live at 5 o'clock to say good morning to millions of people every day.
