And look, it is a busy festive season here at LIBP HQ, but Dan, one of your

hosts here, we're not slowing down. We are not taking as much of a break as others might be during this season because the fixtures just don't stop and Chelsea have another tasty opportunity to pick up some points to climb up the table when facing off against

Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace and of course you know what this is.

It's the preview podcast where we're looking at the ways that Crystal Palace been playing their current form and this is being recorded after they had the one one draw against Brighton and before before really you know a lot of the other fixtures that kind of

took place so over the boxing a period just to get ahead of it a little bit Sam

but we're going to get people as much information as we possibly

can on where Crystal Palace are currently, where the weaknesses are on the side and then

how Pacetino and team might be able to take advantage of this opportunity, a golden opportunity,

to really start making some inroads on a plan to get up the charts, to get up the table, and to try to find ourselves back into a

European qualification spot. We are well set and I think it's an interesting

run of games because we've sort of been clubbed together in terms of the clubs that we're going to face stylistically against matches the city, Arsenal, Tottenham, you expect to play a certain kind of game against well organized sides with the

ball. Now we've suddenly come up against Everton, Sheffield United, now it's going to be

World's Crystal Palace, all these teams that like to sort of not play with the ball as much and and play transition so it's an interesting time for Pochetino I think if he has a certain ideology in mind in terms of how he wants his teams to play when we have about 60% plus of the ball, it's as great a time as any to try and put that into perspective and to it consistently over three or four games.

So I think it's a good time for us.

We've done pretty well.

We mentioned on the Wolfs pre that these have been a couple of games where we had the lion's share of the possession, the Newcastle game, the Sheffield United game, tricky, tricky ones to come up against.

But we managed to navigate it despite, I would say, a little stale first halves.

We've come out roaring in the second ones and grab the game by the scruff of the neck and I hope that we are able to do that from the first half against the opponents that will be facing soon.
