Jasmine Briones, the creator of The Sweet Simple Vegan, has dedicated her life to inspiring others to choose health. A Los Angeles-based nutrition student, Jasmine is a recipe creator and plant-based wellness blogger that works to promote nutrition, fitness, and self-love.
Jasmine struggled with an eating disorder in college and used veganism to mask that to her friends and family. After being confronted by her loved ones that she was too thin and looked unhealthy, Jasmine did some research about veganism, and she learned that she needed to change her relationship with food and with herself.
Today Jasmine is a healthy vegan and a healthy weight and wants to spread the message of what she learned: to love yourself and to nourish that same self with a plant-based diet.
