Summary

This week not only do I have an amazing guest that I know you guys are going to love, but I also have some super important things to talk about in the intro. It's a bit longer than usually but it was something that I really needed to share with all of you. It also ties in with the the underlying theme of honesty that is in this entire episode. For the bulk of the episode though I get to share with you an incredible conversation Jordan Younger of the Balanced Blonde. Her story parallels mine in many ways and we share so much in common in our evolution over the past few years and how that has affected our lives and our work. She gets real about what true balance means and how being authentic and honest with yourself should come before anything else in life. Full show notes at: www.katiedalebout.com/podcast/jordanyounger

to not ramble a lot at the beginning and try, I said.

0:52.4

I know people tell me I ramble all the time, but I try to actually rush through the

0:56.6

intro and keep it super short and get to the meat of the episode, which is the interview and

1:02.1

why you're all probably here.

1:04.0

But today I'm not doing that.

1:06.4

Today I'm not going to rush.

So just be okay with the fact that it's just going to be you and me

1:12.3

here chatting for a little while. And why you ask? Well, a couple reasons. First of all,

1:19.2

some of the shows that I love listening to, the podcast that I really subscribe to and listen

1:25.5

every single week like Girl Boss Radio and the Love Alexi podcast and

1:29.7

Caroline Duners, the Fuck It Diet podcast. They all have something in common, which is that

1:35.9

the host of the show talks to the audience candidly for a little while before they get into

1:41.6

the interview, just updating them about their lives, maybe sharing

1:45.6

some funny anecdotes, catching up. And I love that. I love them warming up the mics that way.
