Hi, everyone, and welcome to another episode of For You from Eve. So while you're listening to this, you may be thinking the audio doesn't sound how it normally sounds. Why does it sound so weird?

Like, I agree. Okay. And I don't know what's going on, but I feel like the audio isn't so horrible where I should postpone for you Friday. But I don't know if it's something happening with my computer or what. I feel like it's something happening with my computer because my microphone seems perfectly fine. But it's just like every time I go to record, it sounds so weird. And I messed around

with all the settings on my interface. I messed around with the settings on my computer. I restarted

my computer. I did everything. And I wanted to record this episode in current time on Friday. So I

woke up at around like 9 a.m. It's currently, what time is it? It's 1245. I woke up at 9 a.m. to plan my episode that I had

planned a little bit prior and to start recording. And then all of a sudden they start

recording. I'm 30, 40 minutes in and I stop it to start a new recording. And I listen to it. And I'm like,

wait, why does this sound so horrible? So I delete the recording. I reset my

computer. I like reset everything, cleaned up the microphone space, like everything that I could

have done to try to fix the audio and try to prevent that didn't work. And I was just so confused

as to why it was like that because there's nothing wrong with the interface. There's nothing wrong

with the microphone. Like, it's all normal. And I just, like, cleaned up the microphone.

Like, I did everything that you can imagine. I tried to fix some weird settings on my computer.

And it just kept sounding weird. So I am currently recording this episode on my AirPod Max headphones.

But, okay, here's the thing. Whenever I record guest episodes with my guests,

they're always wearing headphones. And the, like, audio isn't too horrible, but, like, I have a

microphone set up, which is why it's so annoying and weird that I have to do this right now. But also,

I feel like the AirPods maxes are going to be better

...
