Let's see, last week on Cult Leader we talked about the pin-up slasher, which I loved that 1930s moment, truly loved old cases. Love new cases too, but my favorite to talk about are the older ones, but I think you guys already know that. I think that's something you know about me.

Heavy on my mind today is the Army Hammer situation. I cannot stop thinking about it. If you don't know, you need to fight out. It would take an entire fucking episode for me to even somewhat catch you guys up.

Basically, Army Hammer, famous actor, all these allegations have come out against him, but the most shocking of which are that he apparently has cannibalistic tendencies or desires. We don't know if that's something he's ever actually partaken in.

I thought this weird shit coming out about him, but this all was prompted by a text that I got from my friend Jamie the other day and she was like, hey, I just listened to the episode you did with Brittany Furlin, blah blah blah, what a crazy story because I was on Brittany Furlin's podcast. It's called Worst First.

The episode came out back in February, on February 2nd, but we probably recorded it in at the end of January. I feel like it's definitely something that's been being talked about for a while, but I'm like, okay, a couple of months have gone by. We're in April now. Where is he?

The last that I heard was, well, aside from him getting dropped by his management and pulling out of all his projects, which if you look him up now, what's going on with Army Hammer, basically he's just talking about project after project that he's pulled out of. I want to know where he is.

I did some light investigating with my friend Chris recently because his friend built this hotel out in 29 palms near Palm Springs, like in kind of the middle of nowhere in the desert. And during quarantine, Army went and was helping him out with this project, I guess.

And so every time I'm in Palm Springs, I'm like, is Army Hammer around here somewhere? They found three bodies. I think it was three. It might have been two. I thought they found human remains somewhere out in 29 palms, like 11 minutes away from where that hotel was built. And I was like, oh, shit.

Wonder if he had anything to do with it. Again, all just allegations, all just things I'm piecing together in my mind as I text my friends about what is happening with Army Hammer. The most recent, I know that he moved out of his house that he initially shared with his wife, but they're now separated of obviously.

I think they actually got separated before the allegations, but I'm sure she knew something. I think she's alluded to it or liked some comments or whatever, but when he moved out of, he sold the house in like the middle of the night he had movers come and move everything out. I think it was like the second week of March. And out by the trash, someone took a picture and there was like a mannequin out by the garbage cans that had been like tied up. And I'm like, well, Army Hammer, you'd look at it and you'd think this is a pretty vanilla guy, but apparently not.

And it goes far back. His family is so he comes from like, fucking insane old money. And I guess his whole family's fucked up. There's all this shit coming out about them, but I definitely want to talk about it on a future episode. Now everything's still just kind of like allegations. So what can you say without getting in trouble? I don't want to get in trouble.

So that's what I'm thinking about. I'm thinking about Army Hammer today. Okay. Let's move on to some email. Shall we have a few of them this week? This first one is titled, you can do whatever you want in heaven. It doesn't matter how much you send. And so I was like, okay, we got to put this one in there. It says, hi Spencer.

I've been listening since the beginning and sadly have a story to tell you. I moved from a small town of less than 2000 in Illinois to New London, Connecticut about six months ago. The apartment complex we live in is made up of a few buildings. And this takes place in the building directly across from us.

Last week we had a story where some shit went down across from them. Remember Canada, I think. On March 7th. Oh, this is a recent. On March 7th, my husband was letting the dog out.

And notice that there was a bunch of cop cars and police RVs in the parking lot of the neighboring building. The lot was taped so no one could get in, but my husband was told by another bystander that a child had gotten hurt.

Updated information was just released so I'm able to tell you the whole story. On the morning of March 7th, police were called to my apartment complex because a lady was hitting a car with a baseball bat. Once arriving, the lady told the officer that her son was dead in the house. Fuck. The officer asked how he died and his mom said that she had strangled him and put CBD in his mouth.

What is even going on? I didn't. Sometimes I read the emails before, but this this one I did not. Officers entered the apartment and found the four-year-old on a bed his lips and face were blue and the CBD gummy bears were in his mouth and scattered around him. They attempted CPR, but sadly he had already passed. That is terrible.

While in the cop car, the mother started talking without being asked any questions. She said, I just killed my son. I'm so excited about it too. I never thought I would do that. What? She also said, you can do whatever you want in heaven. It doesn't matter how much you send.

Oh fuck, you lady. She is currently in a maximum security psychiatric hospital waiting for her next court appearance in May. But I'm not going to end this on a bad note.
