Today we're chatting with Dr. Yielda Ulls,

a studio exec turned UCLA research leader

and media consultant.

And after working as a studio exec for both Sony and MGM, Yielda pursued her

PhD in psychology at UCLA, eventually founding the Center for Scholars and Storytellers.

It's a research organization dedicated to educating entertainment and media industry decision-makers

understand how to craft stories that help young people thrive.

The elder's research is focused on how we can be responsible

when it comes to representation and unconscious bias in our storytelling.

And she has worked with influential media platforms like Stars, Pixar, and Google as a consultant. Today we are going to discuss how her research can inform the way we approach the page. So, hey, you're held up.
