with us on this big feast day in the Catholic Church the day after Halloween. Well that's actually not the feast.

Halloween is the anticipation of the feast. The feast is the feast of all hallows or all Saints.

in which we remember all the Saints of the Church

and our communion with them.

We're not going to be taking calls this hour. We're going to talk with

Carla Broussard about this feast. Carlo, of course, apologist here at Catholic

Gansers and author of a whole bunch of books, including the new relativism, his latest book.

on the Feast of All Saints.

Hey, Cy, thanks for having me, buddy.

So we Catholics are kind of famous for the Saints or infamous depending on who's who's counting

The Saints is a of the mystical body of Christ and 1st Corinthians chapter 12 where we are members of

members of this one body. We enter into Christ initially through baptism so

anyone with sanctifying grace dwelling within their soul is mystically united to Christ

and that makes up the communion of Saints, a sharing of Christ's life within our souls,

what we call sanctifying grace and that communion

consists of not only Christians here on earth but also Christians in the post-mortem final purification we call purgatory as well as those

perfected Christians and holiness in heaven that we call saints. Of course that word

saints applies to all members of the mystical body of Christ.
