It's our pleasure. Rachel, are you using your talents doing work that you love?

Yes, absolutely.

All righty. Rachel Mann is the new director of career and technical education at the Milton Hershey School,

a cost-free private residential school for boys and girls from low-income families.

She's well known in the education community as a speaker, author, and thought leader, with

expertise in STEM, classroom innovation, and CTE professional learning. She's the founding member

of the Council on the Future of Education. She will lead the CTE program at Milton Hershey, which combines tailor-made instruction and hands-on learning with the ability to gain certification and real-life experience through internships, co-ops, and pre-apprenticeships.

Well, Don, I am really excited to be at Milton Hershey School at a very pivotal time.

We are currently working on a CTE redesign plan and our hope is to create a gold standard

for a career and technical education and to create a model that folks look to when they're

looking at what's next, what's the best practices within CTE.
