Welcome to Game Change Your Life. I'm Dave Anderson. It's time for our Friday. Two-minute

warning edition posted on Fridays. Naturally, of course, it's a Friday two-minute warning edition. To give you something to think about watch for or do to finish your week strong and maximize your weekend, I will also include an occasional red zone rant, but not today. Here's my topic. Don't ask permission. Here's what I mean. Sometimes we feel like so much of our life is out of our control that we don't

have the power or the authority that we need, you know, from a boss, a parent, a coach,

or somebody else to do what we're capable of doing, to live the life we really want to live.

Well, keep in mind there are certain things and they're really like big things in your life

that you don't need permission for from anyone ever ever they are decisions and they don't

depend on conditions here just a few let me give you about six you don't need permission to give

your best you can choose to give your all whether anyone else is or not or whether anyone else is

looking or even cares you don't need permission to do that and it just feels great you don't

need permission number two to be great at what you do, because growth is a choice. You can choose to develop your talents and to put in the work necessary to maximize them. You don't need permission to follow your dreams. Now, you may hit potholes. You may even get knocked down, but you're not defeated in pursuit of your dreams until you quit, And then you get to choose not to do that.

You don't need permission to do that. You don't need permission to be happy. No one has the power. Here's some great news. No one has the power to make you happy or unhappy. Happiness is a choice. They can do something rotten. You still get to choose how to respond to it. Number five, you don't need permission to feel worthy. Don't let other people put a price on you, your

value, your potential, your humanity, you are worthy, and you need no one's permission to feel in a

worthy state. Number six, I promised you six, you don't need permission to be an awesome person,

just to care about others, to add value to others, to leave the world better than you find it. There are others, but these are a pretty good start to rally around. Think about it. Think about it. Give your best. Be great at what you do. Follow your dreams. Be happy. Feel worthy to be an awesome person. You don't need permission for any of that. So what are you waiting for? You may not be able to add years to your life,

but you can add life to your years. And you can start right now by not asking permission

to be these things and making decisions to become these things to be in this state. Stop being

lived, start living. The game change your life. And we'll talk again real soon.
