Guitar hangs are where it's at, man.

What was your first guitar hang?

I think I remember maybe when I was like 11 years old at Casadero Music Camp and me and

my buddy were jamming on.

Hit me with your best shot by Pat Benatar,

and we had these amps cranked up. It was so great. The whole camp had to hear it, and we played

that shit for like 45 minutes. But this is a next level guitar hang many years later, and we get

into so much stuff. Dave, man. Okay, quick overview. Because there's a lot to this thing. I just kind of

want you to know where it's headed. We start off with some Robin Ford stuff. Then we get into some

cool pentatonic approaches. Then a George Benson maneuver, you got to know. Then maybe some patterns,

like geometrical patterns. Some Mike Stern stuff. Michael Brecker, a Mathini move. And also, of course, I get Dave's life story again, or at least how he got into music.

Interesting cat, man, Dave, I got to know him because he's one of the top instructors at Musicians Institute.
