In 2007, Austin drove his 1975 BMW from Tybee Island, GA to Laguna Beach, CA to follow his dream. 2 years later Austin competed in his first professional skimboarding contest, and went on to travel all over the world for skimboarding events.

As a young boy in Georgia, Austin Keen thought the world was black and white, either you got a 9-5 job or you went to college for a degree. He learned on his own that you can follow your passion, and with a little creative ingenuity you can make a living doing what you love.
