As always, she brings us a case that highlights how shocking a day in the life of a sex

crimes detective can be, including the harrowing challenge of being one step behind a serial rapist who was terrorizing multiple jurisdictions. I remember when we were recording this episode thinking

there are a lot of similarities between the way Lindsay's offender evolved

and the way Joseph De Angelo the Golden State Killer evolved.

So it was fascinating to hear Paul's thoughts on how Lindsay's suspect was operating during his spree

and where he was very likely headed had he not been caught.
