| 0:50.7 | Whenever you're looking to spend money or invest money, are you a user or you are the supplier? Are you going to be using this thing? Because if you're using it, it's a liability. If you're supplying it, it's an asset. All right? So just keep it simple. And this is stuff that we can teach our kids. This is stuff that we can teach anybody. Are you going to be using it or supplying it? |
| 1:11.6 | That's the difference. The more that you can supply, the more income that you're going to make, |
| 1:15.0 | and the more you're going to be able to provide value. Right. Now, we all use stuff. We use stuff |
| 1:21.8 | every single day. We're all interconnected. But if we really focus on supplying as much as possible than we are using |
| 1:29.8 | that for a sprint for a short period of our life, I think we can dramatically affect the rest |
| 1:36.3 | of our life. Number two, own at least one house free and clear. Own at least one house |
| 1:43.1 | free and clear. It is just such a relief to understand that if |
| 1:49.1 | everything happened, if something terrible happens, some terrible disease, some terrible event in your |
| 1:54.6 | life, some injury, some financial disaster, whatever it is, that you have at least one house |
| 2:00.3 | that you own free and clear. |
| 2:02.2 | It's absolutely critical. Write it down. Number two, number three, you take what your, |
| 2:09.5 | your income that you have taken home for the last three years, add them up and divide by three |
| 2:15.7 | to get the average income that you've made over the last |
| 2:18.9 | three years. And the house that you buy to live in can only be worth twice as much as that. |
