Summary

A highly skilled surgeon trying to escape the heavy demand placed upon him for his service is drawn away from his peaceful card game in a warm bar in the Yukon to save the life of a man who has been badly mauled by a panther. Barely surviving the trek, the doctor finds himself enmeshed in an ethical dilemma.
