I like these little segments that we do because it's it's kind of a little bonus thing

for the listeners to hear our thoughts about their thoughts.

And I just think that's a very powerful way to communicate.

I think it's good to give our listeners a platform where they can just sound off on whatever, you know?

So Josh Jenkins wrote to us and he said that he had an idea about a topic okay and he says i know you

guys want to avoid making this a comedy podcast and are trying to instead focus on more serious

issues well but let me just interrupt for a second because i think it's worth saying if something

funny happens that's fine well he says while of course allowing comedic moments to occur spontaneously,

if and when they do. And then he says, but I thought it might be interesting to actually,

paradoxically, make comedy itself the subject of a serious conversation. Isn't that interesting?

It's funny.

It's funny how he's almost turning the tables on us a little bit.

Now, when you say funny, do you don't merely mean funny, though?

I didn't mean funny, humorous.

I guess I meant funny.
