Well, GM is transforming their combustion lines to EV and General Motors investing significantly

in transforming their existing internal combustion engine plants to manufacture electric vehicles.

According to the president, Mark Reyes, this strategy is more economical and adaptable

than building new factories from scratch by repurposing existing facilities.

General Motors can efficiently make gas and electric vehicles and align with the fluctuating market needs.

Well, Reyes also highlighted at the car management briefing seminars recently earlier in August that while the initial costs

of converting at a plant is substantial, it's still lower than the expense of building a new one.

This flexible manufacturing approach is integral to GM's ambition of offering a zero

emission light duty lineup by 2035. This year GM is launching new EV models, premium full-sized

pickups, Blazer looks good, the new mass market Equinox EV, which they bill as America's most

affordable, 315 mile plus EV. Catchy, it is. Leasing on that starts around $300 a month,

get some better deals than that if you really hunt around.
