GM is transforming combustion lines to EV, the President Mark Reyes, talking at the recent car management briefing seminars.

It was the industry event.

No one really paid much attention to it, but I was. And it's interesting when someone speaks at this event, someone so senior, earlier this

month in August, he was talking about how their strategy is more economical to convert existing

combustion lines rather than build whole new factories. Pros and cons, of course, they will

carry on launching their ultim-evs

like the Blazer, the Equinox, is less than $300 to lease per month, better in some cases.

And of course, the new Bolt is coming. That will be made in the Fairfax plant in Kansas in

2025. That will be a very affordable vehicle. And the GMC Sierra Evie Denali Edition 1 is now

hitting dealership. So if you are desperate to get that, you know, a small customer base for that,

I would have thought built on GM's BT1 platform like the Chevy Silverado, the narrow body

version of that platform. And it's being made at GM's Factory Zero in Michigan. The 2025 model year will start to be

built soon with a lot more trim options rather than just the Denali edition one. Volvo is adjusting

the price of the EX90 upwards by just over $3,000 and they have said it reflects some of the

higher supplier costs and pressures on the business.

But it will launch without some of the things which it gets in China.

And the likes of LiDar, like Apple CarPlay is not coming to begin with,

bidirectionality charging.

That's not coming to begin with Volvo.
