Hey, friends, welcome to today's broadcast on the line of fire.

This week is a special week.

I am in Fort Worth, Texas, attending the ETS Evangelical Theological Society annual convention.

Several thousand evangelical scholars come together, theologians, people of different backgrounds, but with the common denominator of loving biblical scholarship and theology and being evangelical believers.

And we come together for a few days. I haven't participated in this for years and years and then finally did again in recent years.

And you deliver papers back and forth. you share different viewpoints, you have discussion

sections, people deliver plenary papers that everyone listens to. So it's a good stimulating time.

Above all, it's a time to catch up and see people you don't normally get to see. So I'm presenting

a couple of papers this week. And for the most part, what we've done is pre-record brand new broadcast.
