broadcast Michael Brown. Delighted to be with you.

As we are speaking with you today, from the safety of most of America, folks in California,

in a battle for their lives in some parts of the country, whole communities being wiped out by now the deadliest fires in

California history, hitting in both the north and the south. The community of paradise

wiped out over 30 dead, 200 plus unaccounted for. I just spoke with someone this morning

from California, and he was telling me that

he's a few hours away, about a three-hour drive from the worst of the fires. He said, but they're

getting the smoke. He said it felt apocalyptic. He said, like the sun just turning into red,

I mean, or the moon just with the smoke going up.

And he said people, you know, walking around having to cover their mouths.

And so it's intense.

And I don't know what your theology is.

Does this just happen?

Is God involved in every last detail of it?

Is the devil trying to destroy lives?

Is this judgment? Is this judgment? Is this

coincidence? Is this global warming? Or the bottom line is people are suffering. So we pray for
