1:18.8	Up next, Kent Covington with today's news.
1:22.8	The United States and its allies are watching Russia very closely, where 10,000 North Korean troops are now on the ground.
1:30.5	Most of them deployed near the border with Ukraine.
1:33.5	Secretary of State Tony Blinken told reporters,
1:36.0	We've not yet seen these troops deploy into combat against Ukrainian forces,
1:40.8	but we would expect that to happen in the coming days.
1:43.9	Lincoln's comments came during a meeting with South Korean officials visiting Washington.
1:48.7	He said this was the first time in 100 years that Russia has invited foreign troops onto its soil,
1:54.2	and he added that it reeked of desperation.
1:56.7	Putin has been throwing more and more Russians into a meat grinder of his own making in Ukraine.
2:01.7	Now he's turning to North Korean troops, and that is a clear sign of weakness.
2:08.1	South Korean Foreign Affairs Minister Chotei Yule also condemned the troop deployment as a violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions.
