Hello and welcome to the Thursday November 9th 2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we're talking about

Model S Performance, Model 3 Production, and Autopilots Neural Network.

Tesla stock on Wednesday closed down 0.36 percent, this compared to the NASDAQ also

down 0.36 percent.

Supercharger network update, we are still at 1,042 supercharging locations.

The big news today is coming from Electrek. co.

They are reporting that model 3 production at the end of October was 440 vehicles.

Tesla had previously reported that 260 model 3's had been produced in Q3.

That would put October production for model 3 at 180 vehicles. Because Tesla didn't report on model 3 production for

180 vehicles.

Because Tesla didn't report on model 3 production for October in the Q3

earnings report we knew that it would be very low.

I had speculated that it would be below 100 vehicles produced.

So it looks like they did exceed that slightly, however not to any degree that it would be material.

This information doesn't cause me to have any more concern than I previously did over the model 3 production ramp.

As Elon likes to remind us, the production process is only going to be as fast as the slowest

bottleneck, so the worst performing supply or the worst performing production process.

And from the shareholder letter and from the earnings call, it was very clear that Tesla was having significant

issues with Model 3 battery production

within the module assembly production process and it was also clear that at the time of the call on November 1st

they were just then beginning to figure out what the issues were and how to solve those issues.

So hopefully nobody views this news too negatively.
