Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we're talking

about Tesla's acquisition of a Minnesota manufacturing company. Tesla's director of battery

engineering departing from the company and we already have a new highest fin sighting

and possibly for for model 3.

Tesla stock on Monday closed down 1.08% to $302.78

as compared to the NASDAQ up 0.33%.

Supercharger network update we are currently at 1,042 supercharging locations, adding

one new station in North Carolina.

We'll start off with the Model 3 news.

Yesterday, Twitter user Doc Dave spotted a car carrier with eight model 3s on it and he actually had a chance to speak to the truck operator.

The operator disclosed that the highest VIN that he was carrying was 1,088.

We don't have any photographic evidence of VIN 1088.

However, this would be our kind of second day on the show

of reporting highest bins.

So on Monday, we reported VIN number 869

had been spotted over the weekend at Fremont,

and now we have a report of 1088 being spotted.

So it's encouraging, again, it's unconfirmed.

However, it's nice to see that the VINs are increasing. And hopefully we'll have more regular updates on this as this continues to happen.

The other big news that we got yesterday is that Tesla has acquired another engineering company.

So back in January, Tesla acquired Gormanen Engineering, which is a German engineering company, focused on the automation of production processes.
