Summary
Sara Orchard takes you back 10 years to remember the Red Roses’ World Cup triumph in 2014. Sara is joined by Katy Daley-McLean, who led the side to glory in France, and the current England captain Marlie Packer, to relive their victory over Canada in the final. We find out why there was an armed guard at the Red Roses training base, Katy explains why she turned down a visit from Jonny Wilkinson before the final and Marlie pinpoints the exact moment she knew England were going to win the World Cup. There’s also plenty on the celebrations at full-time and the Take That song that became the team’s anthem during the tournament.
