Shotgun shells on the table in between us Mark is to my left. We're gonna talk about

turkey loads in particular seems fairly timely here with the

approximate spring-ish time of the year at the time of this recording and

around the time of the release of this episode. So Mark, take it away.

What, this was your idea, I gotta admit,

I'm not particularly in my element when it comes to shotgun shells,

so. So my thinking was here, like said it's timely turkey season we are on the

cusp of one of the most fun times of year we did that podcast on shot shells in

general and I thought maybe let's boil it down, let's talk about turkey shells in a

silo, what makes a turkey shell, a turkey shell and optimal for that application?

And I've got a couple examples here that I've used over the years kind of my evolution of shells that I've used

over time and my you know things that I've found success with and and something that

I'm hoping to find some success with here in the in the near future.

So kind of going back and in that full length shotgun shell episode we talk a bit about all

the numbers and whatnot that goes into choosing your shotgun shells for the

application you need. Now explain what makes turkey shells. What is it

about them that makes them so good at killing those springbirds?

So I mean I would say in general some performance characteristics that a person's

going to want to look for. They're going to want to look for a shell that delivers, you know,

a solid payload on target, the choke and your
