What's up everybody? We have 10 minutes here with Mr Ian Clem who's joining us over from the

engineering department. He's talked with us in the past about barrels,

super long-range shooting, all kinds of really neat stuff.

And when we did our full-length episode on barrels specifically,

you talked about just, I mean, all things, barrels.

I'm sure there's, you could probably do a ton of different podcasts all about barrels. I'm sure there's you could probably do a ton of different

podcasts all about barrels and really dive deeper but we talked a ton in that one

and probably the most frequently asked question or topic raised in response to that

podcast was revolving around barrel break-in. Ian said he wasn't surprised when I

brought this up to him earlier because he gets asked

all the time about barrel breaking.

We've seen, yeah, everybody had their own thoughts on it, you got to do it, there's a certain number

of rounds you got to do, a certain kind of, of rounds you got to do a certain kind of maybe

ammo you got to use or something like that depends on the barrel I don't know

do you use a brush do you just use a patch sure do you clean it all that stuff why

are you even doing it?

Yeah, Ian what what are your thoughts on barrel breaking? Let's just start there.

So in general I will say that I don't break in my barrels.

And no one needs to break in the barrel.

Clearly Ian doesn't know what he's talking about.
