I think you were going in a really bad direction where people were feeling

pretty comfortable just getting in sconce at home and you know spending time

on their devices and not really seeking human connection anymore. And there's

been a breakdown of community breakdown of happiness and a increase in

loneliness because of all this. And maybe after people get vaccinated they'll

want to spend more time with groups. They might join more community

organizations, you know, more churches and religious institutions, more civic

organizations. They might get more involved in politics, especially after

seeing what's happened here in San Francisco. You know the school board has

lost its mind and there's more people interested in the school board than

ever before.

Today is a special episode for a couple of reasons. Number one, we are bringing

back Alex Cantramitch, our good friend of the show who hosts the Big Technology

Podcast, writes the big technology newsletter, and also is starring in

the latest season of recodes, coverage of tech companies. He co-hosts their

show focused on the rise and current reign of Google. The three of us,

Sagar, Alex and I are launching a show on Clubhouse. We've been talking about
