Hello and welcome to another episode of the Mark Grove's podcast. This week we are exploring the taboo subject of sex and sexuality.

I had the pleasure of being on a podcast called Guys We Fucked, which is hosted by

When they first asked if I wanted to be on it, I looked it up because I was intrigued,

obviously, by the name, like who wouldn't be.

And when I saw the purpose of the podcast, I was like, hell yeah, I have to do this.

You know, it's hailed as a podcast that's about changing the way society thinks about

female sexuality and really hoping the intention to pave the way towards a

healthier outlook on sex. What an incredible thing that is needed, right? We are so afraid of the

subject of sex and our cultures and our religions and our societies are all equally as terrified of the very fucking thing

that makes us. That is mind-boggling to me. And because we teach so much shame around

sexuality, like saying desire is bad, sex is bad, especially when you're an adolescent,

which you have hormones and you're naturally going to desire because you're a human being biological.

If you're taught that that's bad, then you have to believe unconsciously for sure, but often

consciously that a part of you is bad.

And then, you know, we shame exploration of self.

We shame masturbation.

We shame all of these things that causes people to turn against their sexuality

and often need to be inebriated for their first time.

We even talk about losing your virginity as if you lose something instead of

gain something, which is a deeper exploration of self, a maturation process. We often don't do it

from in embodied space. We don't engage in sexuality from an educated space. We don't engage in it
