liturgy, Latin mass, maybe some exorcisms, and maybe your father, your book about your father.

So Harrison Butler and Austin Wright were here the last couple of days

and we were talking about your book on the liturgy. And one of the most provocative... your people think offatory is like when you take up money. Yes. Right? They don't

understand the offatory is a oblation, it's a sacrificial act. So can you

explain what the offatory is and then how that ties into the traditional

that mass, the debate on Novus-Orto, etc.

Right.

Well, basically, well, every sacrifice,

as I mentioned in the book, has three components.

It's the offatory, the slaying of the victim, which we would

have been in the mass, it's the canon of the mass. And then of course the communion of

the priest or the consuming of the victim. And so the offatory plays a key role

because it's when you're actually taking the thing, the

Oblata technically, but the things that are being offered, you're setting them aside specifically

for sacred use or for it dedicated towards the device. specifically for you like if the priest dies after the offatory has begun that's it then another
