What was the reason for going back to have the baby?

Was it medical care, just issues of citizenship, or concerns, what was the concern?

So my wife had originally planned on having the baby in Peru, and she'd found a doctor

who had been trained in the U.S. and was very competent.

She really liked him, but when we finally got down to see the hospital, the level of nursing

care and technology, and said, basically, if something goes wrong, the ability to deal

with it down here may not be as well, and then Cheryl Green was the nurse practitioner

down there at the time.

She said, hey, listen, we recommend that you go back, and not only that, we'll pay

for you to go back and have the baby.

My in-laws were living up in Vermont running a country store up in Stowe, Vermont at the

time, and my oldest daughter is a Vermont woodchuck now, so she's born in Vermont.

I spoke at a conference up in Vermont one time, and I flew in, and I'm driving up there,

and I stopped at this little country store.

I mean, it's beautiful up there, obviously.

I stopped, I was laughing, obviously, and what are you laughing about?

I turned around, I saw this t-shirt, and it had a picture of a maple tree on there, and

it said, yeah, I'd tap that.

I started laughing, so you're talking about a land where there are more cows, and there

are people, right, so.

Yes, there.
