So I was going to start this off by saying what an emotional wreck I am right now. And now I feel even worse about myself after the hair comment. I even got a haircut today so it's looking better.

But I mean Josh, you know, there's nothing I can say the man's got phenomenal hair, but I am in flawless tonight. It is. It is. It is.

Wait, why are you an emotional wreck?

Dude, my 53 man roster like figuring out who to put on this roster. I don't think I've ever had more difficulty cutting players from a roster than this one right here.

Like there are legitimately 59 to 60 players. You can make the argument for long on an NFL roster of the Eagles 90 players that they'll have to choose from.

Like it's pretty impressive the roster how we put together and whenever I go to cut one guy, I'm like, oh, when I keep it, it just been rough. I'm looking forward to talking with you.

Well, let's talk it out together because I mean, there's first of all, please fix preseason. This is horrendous. I know we get excited about it at the beginning and then everybody complains about it at the end. And here I am again.

Please end preseason, but keep away for these guys to still maintain their jobs or try to fight for their jobs because I'm having a hard time and you tell me.

I mean, I felt like Doug Peterson was having a hard time even with Mac Collins and Greg Ward. I think Zach was the one who asked, you know, like what was how do you feel about his performance?

And he goes into this whole thing about well, overall, it's it's about an overall thing we know about Mac and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

You've made the point anybody with eyes. I think believes right now the Greg Ward is a better wide receiver has had more reps than Mac Collins.

And even on our last part in our preview pod, I'm saying there's no way that Greg Ward can overtake this, but I, this is my hope and optimism and, you know, emotions all getting in there.

Greg Ward needs to make this team and will he?

So I think there were two main things tonight that made me think for the first time he has a shot.

Now the first was Mac Collins playing like into the third quarter. I'm pretty sure like he was out there for the majority of the game.

And obviously in the fourth preseason game, you never play almost anybody that you think is going to play somewhat of a valuable role.

Mac Collins assuming he makes the roster is going to be a key special teams contributor. So yeah, as a receiver, you know, he doesn't really matter to this roster.

But as a special teams guy, I mean, he was talked up as an elite special teams player and he has been when he's healthy, but, you know, I would think FIP would have won him out there with the potential getting hurt for week one.
