rent movies. Welcome to another episode of sincerely fortune. It's fortune and it's jacks. I'm back. She's back. We've had a lot of interviews lately. So we haven't gotten to catch up with everybody. And there's so much to talk about.

I mean, there's so much to talk about considering we're still in a pandemic. Right. But I always enjoy having you on here with me. So I wanted to chat with my wife. My wife. Oh yeah. Like from Borat. That's my wife. Okay.

So we hope everybody's doing good. We've had some really cool guests on here lately. The Indigo girls. So fun. That was really awesome. It was. That was exciting. I was in the room with you. But it was hard because I wasn't wearing headphones at time. So I could hear everything you were saying, but not what they were saying.

And a lot of interviews. I like you to just do them. And I'm here in case you forget something like with the Indigo girls. Right.

And I can pipe in. But yeah, I was nervous. And also you were doing video and spoiler alert. I usually look a mess when we're recording the podcast. I think.

So do I. Sometimes I have like wet hair and I'm I'm on video. I know. You don't care about that stuff. I really love them.

Where I was like, wait, am I wearing a bra? No, hold on. Oh yeah, because they said tell Jackson jump on. Yeah. I don't think this is the right time.

Like holding the dog in my pajamas. So. But yeah, I mean, we both in fans of theirs for. Yeah. So long. As we've talked about before I came out so young. So the Indigo girls concerts were like such an important and big part of the lesbian experience, especially back in the day.

And that was lesbian paradise. You know, like you will met each other. Yeah. Like in Indigo girls concert, you had a much better chance of meeting a girlfriend than like any other event because most of the times concerts would be outside. They happened during the day. So you could like see people in the full light.

Talk to them. Then you have a few cocktails. I mean, not me because I was not 21 but. Right. Right. Yeah, I mean, I had a lot of fun. And I think that's what I was like.

And I was like, I'm not going to talk to them. And you have a few cocktails. I mean, not me because I was not 21 but. Right. Right. Yeah. I mean, we I had a lot of fun. And then at some of those venues, they would have the flower people selling single roses walking around. Oh, really?

What was that supposed to mean? Like someone would could buy you a rose. Oh, that was smart. Oh, yeah. I used to romance at the Indigo girls concerts.

But the local entertainment venues doing guest services and security. And I definitely got several roses when I would work in Indigo girls show. I'd have to like put them behind the chair and then someone else would bring one up. I mean.

I'm just taking sure in a hard core lesbian and like, Hey, I got your rose. And that was back when they would give you their phone number two on a piece of paper. Like not have you put it in your phone. So here's a rose in my phone number.

I mean, those were my favorite night. Those were the days. And just list. I remember listening to the Indigo girls with my first girlfriend and driving around in her car and like on road trips. And everyone just be like singing their songs at the top of their lungs. Yeah, that's well. So it's interesting to hear their journey of their own sexuality and come to terms with it because they were such, you know, they were the reason a lot of people came out.

And so we had to kind of come to terms with ourselves. It just, you know, really reminds you that it is a journey for a lot of people. And luckily times are better. And so hopefully the journey is not as long or hard. But, you know, we all deal with the same things. Even our friends.

And I mean, Amy, you have been to go girls. Yes. And we even got to go to an Indigo girls concert together. I think it was after I had moved to LA, but it was still in that first year. Yeah.
