Why hello there. I'm super excited to chat with you today and today's episode is going to be a little bit different because typically I tend to give tips of how to do things ideas and today I'm actually going to give you a method to help you be aware of your own emotions and physical state.

So as I've coached women and I've coached thousands of women, I've talked with women, I've done it in the gym.

I started teaching fitness classes when I was 19 and I would interact with people about their health and fitness and their activities around food and then I

started being a personal trainer and then I started coaching online and then I

started doing macro coaching where I help women with their nutrition so I've had a lot of practice basically since I was 19, so 18 years of learning

how to interact with people and why they do what they do.

One of the things that I've learned

is majority of the things we do,

we do out of emotion or physical need.

So that's kind of what I want to talk to you today.

I want to give you a method today that I've learned that I use personally

and I think is very useful and it's really, really simple to master as well.

I know we all have different coping skills and some of our

coping skills are very healthy, maybe going on a walk, reading a book, taking deep breaths,

those are all fantastic, but some of our coping skills are often very unhealthy.

And as we get into this today, obviously I am not a therapist.

I am a massive believer in therapy.

I wish that all health plans included a couple of sessions with

the therapist every year. I mean we go see a Gino to check on our nether

region once a year. Why aren't we checking on our mental health? So I wish that was

included but it's not.
