This time of the year means you're being pulled in multiple directions. In this episode, we have some

But first, we're going to hear how other people are wasting their time. No, I'm just kidding. But we are going to share a time-sucking hurdle. This is from a top teacher.

I've recently changed grade levels and I feel like a first year teacher. I'm always reinventing

the wheel and it's exhausting. I don't like feeling like I'm in survival mode. There are still 131 days

of school left. I just need to find some balance. Bridgett thoughts. I mean, moving to different

grade levels is really challenging. You really do feel like a first-year teacher all over again.

And I know, Michelle, you moved from second grade to fourth grade.

I moved from kindergarten to fourth.

It's just, it's hard.

So you have to remind yourself to go easy.

Find a handful of activities that you can go back to again and again and again.

Like, keep it simple. I feel like we tend to overthink things, including our lessons,
