This time of the year means you're being pulled in multiple directions. In this episode, we have some

time-saving activities for you to insert into your lesson plans and help save your sanity.

But first, we're going to hear how other people are wasting their time. No, I'm just kidding. But we are going to share a time-sucking hurdle. This is from a top teacher.

I've recently changed grade levels and I feel like a first year teacher. I'm always reinventing

the wheel and it's exhausting. I don't like feeling like I'm in survival mode. There are still 131 days

of school left. I just need to find some balance. Bridgett thoughts. I mean, moving to different

grade levels is really challenging. You really do feel like a first-year teacher all over again.

And I know, Michelle, you moved from second grade to fourth grade.

I moved from kindergarten to fourth.

It's just, it's hard.

So you have to remind yourself to go easy.

Find a handful of activities that you can go back to again and again and again.

There is nothing wrong with pulling out things that you can go back to again and again and again. There is nothing wrong

with pulling out things that you've already done and reusing them for a different lesson.

This will give you some winners that you know that you can reuse for lots of different areas

while also feeling successful as a teacher. Yeah, I've had to remind myself a lot lately, just in all areas.

Like, keep it simple. I feel like we tend to overthink things, including our lessons,

and we make them in a way that they require so much prep and so many materials.

Obviously, this time of year, like, we don't have energy for that.
