What were you like at this time, kind of midweek, leading up to that first game?

It's such a long off season.

You go through all the OTAs and training camp.

What were you like at this time? Well, at this time, I'm like, yes, I made the team. You know, that's

how I feel right now. I made the team. Now I can just focus on the opponent during training

camp, during OTAs, mini camp, you're like so focused on make sure I do everything right to make

this team. You know, it was different. I was never penciled in as the guy.

Right. Even though if I was a starter, so every year I fought for my life. So I was so excited

to make the team, okay, let me get the place, let me get my rental, let me get my family here,

and now let's focus on the opponent. And that's when it got exciting.

Did you feel that way even when you were a starter? You were never truly comfortable. I never felt safe.

You just never know.

You know, two big names in my career.
