The fiery and tragic end of the movement for the restoration of the Ten Commandments of God was not accidental.

It had been planned from the moment of its conception.

The organization drew heavily from many other volatile cults, primarily the Catholic Church,

where they acquired the majority of their leadership and members. Modern-day Uganda,

similar to most of its neighboring countries, didn't exist until the turn of the 20th century.

It is 92 square miles of tropical land nestled in the heart of the African continent, surrounded by

Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sudan. During this time, dynasties

and kingdoms that had been around so long that their

origins are obscure, were being restructured and unified, and with the arrival of European and

Arab colonial management, Uganda, as it is known today, began to be shaped by their total

obedience of the roles and forces of change.

Ugandans are friendly people who have learned to disregard the historical trauma that has

been inflicted upon them through slavery, disease, and wars.

They hold strong to and cherish the traditional African values of exceptions, and have

overall rejected the divisiveness and hatred

that colonizers have attempted to instill in them through racism and religion throughout history.

Uganda's mythological creation story dates back to the year AD 1000, under the command of

Ruhanga, the creator. According to oral tradition, the first inhabitants of

the land were the Abbotomboozzi, the founders. They are believed to have been gods,

and it is believed that they have since disappeared back to heaven because of the social strife

and disobedience of their subjects. It's kind of a standard storyline.
