Hello internet. We are glad that you are joining us today. We have a we've been kind of hitting it out of the park when it comes to quality

guests no not according to everybody but we've managed to to snag a big fish in the

podcast space and and it's because of mutual mutual interest about what what the function

that Christian podcasting serves in

in kind of the church sphere and the American Christian sphere. So today we've got Matt Carter on from the bad Christian podcast.

Andy, there are certain episodes where we just have to muzzle Andy and, um, you know, that's why we don't have soccer players on,

that's why we've not invited Taylor, I mean hockey players, excuse me.

I was gonna say soccer.

You wouldn't have a hard time there.

Same sport.

Almost, some ways.

So it's while we haven't had Ariana Grande on and so anyway, so today was one of those days and he when we when I first said all right how in the world do you

podcast he said okay you gotta go listen to two different shows they do them completely differently one is the

liturgist podcast one is bad Christian podcast and uh... liturgist was was great and interesting

and artistic and and then there were these three southern guys who were just sitting around and you could picture yourself kind of having conversations with them.

So, bad Christian is the name of their podcast, but it's really become a whole network of

podcasts and there's a publishing arm and they were all part of a band or still are part of a band.

It started as a band and then you'll hear Matt explain how bad Christians started.

But the funny thing is, is that era of bands, a lot of bands for that era broke up and then in the past two or

three years a bunch of them got back together.

And so it was almost like there's this new thing that's like progress of hiatus.
