The White House's newest clash with Amazon could be just the latest sign of strain in Trump's relationship with Big Tech, 100 days into his second tenure.

That's the focus of today's tech check with DeBosso.

Well, the honeymoon is over, Carl, this morning the White House blasting Amazon for what it

calls a hostile and political act for reported plans to display the cost of tariffs next to

the total price of products on the site, something that Amazon quickly said it was not going to

implement.

But this is another clear example of the fraying alliance between tech and the second

Trump administration just 100 days in, one that had started with far more promise. Many will

remember this image. Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sunder-Bachai, Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Sergey

Brin, some of the most powerful leaders in tech. They had prime seating at the president's inauguration.

Many of them or their companies having donated to the event, too, hoping for a friendlier or at least a less hostile

political environment than the previous Biden administration. Instead, though, tensions, they're

spilling into the public. Amazon considering, even if it was just considering displaying tariff

costs for consumers, that would call out the real bottom line impact of Trump's policies. And it would mark one of the most visible

signs of big tech pushing back. Now, another signal came earlier this month when NVIDE

CEO, Jensen Huang, made a surprise trip to Beijing to reassure officials and clients

amid the tariffs and the export ban.

Now, Huang heads to the White House tomorrow for an event, and it will be interesting to watch the tone here,

whether Jensen Huang and others lean into support for the agenda or whether the growing strain surfaces more clearly.

Remember that in less than a month, more restrictions will come into effect that will impact

NVIDIA's bottom line unless the president stops them, which is looking increasingly unlikely
