Hello and welcome to episode 100 of Ben Franklin's world.

The podcast dedicated to helping you learn more about how the people and events of our early American past have shaped the present day world we live in.

Wow, here we are at episode 100.

This is really amazing.

So few podcasters make it past episode 7 and here we are at episode 100.

This is an occasion worth marking and sometime ago I asked you how you wanted to celebrate and you replied that you wanted

someone to interview me so I found the host you submitted the questions and here we

are episode 100 where I Lizart, and the guest historian.

Given that this is such a special episode, I recorded it a bit differently.

I asked my friend and fellow historian Joseph Edelman,

if he would come over and record the episode in my small home studio.

He agreed and we had a face-to-face conversation about history, podcasting, and time travel, and

we didn't have any glitches with the phone.

During our conversation we discussed how I became interested in early American history,

how Ben Franklin's world came about and the work I do to produce each episode.

And where I would go and who I would eat with if I had a time machine.
